Certificate in Christian Studies

Southeastern’s Certificate in Christian Studies is a 7 course program of study offered to anyone desiring to learn basic proficiency in the area of biblical studies. These courses are offered specifically online. This program can be completed 100% online and at your own pace. The program is designed to be flexible enough to accommodate the schedule of working students, as well as those with family responsibilities.

CERT 1040 - Introduction to Great Commission Studies 1 semester hr(s).
CERT 1095 - Hermeneutics 1 semester hr(s).
CERT 1060 - Introduction to Old Testament Interpretation 1 semester hr(s).
CERT 1050 - Introduction to New Testament Interpretation 1 semester hr(s).
CERT 1090 - Introduction to Christian Theology 1 semester hr(s).
CERT 1094 - Historical Theology 1 semester hr(s).
CERT 1032 - Current Issues in Christian Ethics 1 semester hr(s).
OR
CERT 1070 - Christian Philosophy 1 semester hr(s).

Course codes for students in the Spanish version of this certificate program or the older model (offered prior to the current online GO version) will differ. The course titles and content are the same but the codes are listed as a three-letter academic discipline prefix followed by a zero and three additional numbers.
